Furore is in the “most beautiful villages of Italy” network. Historically the first news about Furore are just from 1752. Furore was, for its physicalgeographical conformation, a proof fortress even at the Arabian raids era. The Town of Furore grows vertically starting from 500m above the sea level and arriving to the sea where there is the famous fjord. The fjord represented a natural harbor where occurred flourishing traffics. Furore can be considered an open-air museum: with its wall paintings it’s in the touristic routes that exhibit
the art on exterior walls of the houses walls or on stonewalls of the terraces.
