The Lattari Mounts are a mountain chain that  propagate from the Appennines.
They are extended in Northeast – Southwest direction. The highest peak is Mount Molare (also known as San Michele, 1444 m), part of the mountain complex  named Monte Sant’Angelo a Tre Pizzi ( Mount Sant’Angelo with tree peaks).
These are limestone mountains, with broadleaved trees, chestnut and beech forests, but also areas with Mediterranean vegetation and bare rock, on the southern and steep slopes. It is easy to find and see karst phenomenas.
