Pleasant walk uphill to the Mount Tre Calli mountain Hike that overlook the valley of Agerola. The hike requires a good effort of working uphill but certainly rewarded by the enchanting view that you will appreciate reached 1100 metres.
Starting point in Paolo Capasso square in Bomerano, suburb of Agerola. Take the small road which starts from the square near the information panels leaving the Hotel Gentile on the right; following the signs of the CAI take the the stairs going uphill to reach a crucifix on via Paipo.
Walking through the typical Mediterranean vegetation and stands of oak and chestnut you reach the mountain Paipo, the first of three peaks, where you can enjoy the view over the entire coast, from Positano to Capri, and the plateau of the village of Agerola.
Continue on the ridge until you reach Capo Muro, characterized by his “Mushroom Rock” , pleasant resting place at the foot of the mountain massif of Monte Sant’Angelo a Tre Pizzi . From this point you continue on the left , going down along a path with a lot of stones on the ground, till you reach a forest track that after 700 meters become driveway . Continue the drive way up to the crucifix and then follow the road back to return to the starting point .
Great to hike in the summer at the sunrise to its exposure to the east , and enjoy the quiet that only the mountain can give .
