Circuit Hike at the most high mountain of the Campania region

Location fabulous, the conquest of the highest of the Lattari Mountains and across the province of Naples summit. Trekking through mountain forests of conifers and beech trees, with 360 degree breathtaking views of the surrounding territory, from Vesuvius to Cilento.
Faito for guided tours leaving from the square of the cable car of Monte Faito Village (Vico Equense). Take the path that leads to the Sanctuary of San Michele, walking on the ridge. Here you can enjoy panoramic views of Mount Vesuvius and the whole plain of the Nocera-Sarno, with the Apennines in the distance. Once at the sanctuary, continue in the same direction for a short distance along the street up to a bend where there is a large gravel forecourt. Cross it and go down in the woods where after few meters you cross the wide path that continues to the right. Follow the signs of the CAI but always in a proportion up to reach the Holy water source. Here persists a rich population of a rare species of insectivorous plant. Continue along the path always following the signs CAI up to the junction leading to Molar (or Monte San Michele). Once on top, you are rewarded the effort by a unique view of the surrounding territory.
SI goes back up to the previous intersection and then in the direction of Conocchia, where it dominates with his eyes the whole Peninsula and the coast, from Positano to Capri, passing through Vico Equense, Sorrento and Massa Lubrense.
Then you follow the path that bends to the right and continues with a slight descent to become large and comfortable through a rich population of beech trees. It ends at the Pero flat, where you cross the driveway which then leads to the starting point.
