Trekking Agerola, pleasant route with long stretches of flat walking through chestnut woods and plains to share. The route leads from Agerola develops the common staircase, with a unique view of Ravello.
Departure near the tunnel (Agerola side) where you take the street next to the Gallery Bar (Via Tunnel). Immediately after the bar, take the left uphill along the road that leads to Colle S. Angelo. From here follow the Alta Via dei Monti Lattari, hiking trail that runs all Monti Lattari, from Cava de ‘Tirreni to Punta Campanella. Go ahead and encountered the fork choose the right (the circuit of 3 sources) on the left. After reaching the entrance of the Valle delle Ferriere Reserve in “Imbarrata” you go left along a dirt road driveway. From here the path continues through increasingly large and comfortable the beautiful chestnut population in the reserve until the small square of a junction on the left leads to the Vrecciaro Water (conjunction with the circuit 3 sources). Leave the square go straight on keeping the network reserve the right up to the next junction, on the left leads to Santa Maria ai Monti (Scala) and right ends with the Mostaculo plateau. Then take the left and crossed the plateau you reach the altitude refuge of Santa Maria ai Monti.
Continuing, leaving the shelter behind, you arrive in a very scenic spot with views of Scala, Ravello to the sea coast. From here you can return following the journey back, or continue downhill along a path with steps leading to the village of Scala where to take the SITA bus back to Agerola.
